The majority of above ground pools have pumps that are over capacity for the pool size as when buying a pool, an upgrade in Horse Power is often a selling push and is really not needed.

Not only does it require more energy so more expensive to run, it quite often will be too noisy.

With smaller above ground pools, the Dynamo 1hp will be more than adequate.

(3/4 hp may be all you really need).

The Dynamo 1hp Above Ground swimming pool pump is a perfect smaller pump with its reinforced fiberglass casing and improved impeller design.

It also features the Dynamo see-thru lid on debris basket and self priming action.

Operation is by normal on/off switch.

Measuring just over 2 ft long and approx 13ins high, the Dynamo pool pump is not going to take up much space but make sure there is plenty of room and lighting around the pump for maintenance.

The pump is fitted with a 3ft long cord that simply plugs in to power, so no electrical work is required.

The pump should be fitted as low to the pool or ground as possible since lifting water will cause priming to take longer and the pump will be working a lot harder.
